Putting Southern Illinois plans in one place
The Challenge
Night Light SI needed a website that could make everything happening across Southern Illinois easier to find. Palmer designed and developed a responsive regional events calendar, things-to-do guide, and blog where visitors can browse concerts, festivals, markets, arts, food, outdoor recreation, wineries, and community events throughout the region.

Designing a faster path from browsing to going
What We Did
We designed and developed the experience around the way people make plans: what is happening, where it is, when to go, and what else is nearby. Search, event categories, dates, and location tools help visitors move from browsing to a specific plan while the blog gives local destinations, activities, and seasonal ideas room to be explored.

Bringing local events and experiences to every screen
The Results
The interface carries the same visual character from the large editorial layouts on desktop to the focused event experience on mobile. Clear navigation, readable event details, and consistent calls to action keep the guide useful whether someone is planning ahead at home or looking for something nearby from their phone.
