Explore the scope
Issue three shouldn't take as long to design as issue one.
A board member skims it. A shareholder reads every line. Same document.
A list of facts doesn't help someone picture themselves there.
A shopper who can't find the right page gives up before they compare anything.
Answer the question out of order, and the reader stops trusting the guide.
A cover has to sell in a thumbnail and hold up on a shelf.
Our process
We map the content and the order a reader should encounter it in, before anyone touches a grid: the story arc, the sections, and the pacing between a big image and a dense page of text.
We build the system, grid, type, illustration, image treatment, and color, and hold to it spread after spread, so a hundred-page annual report reads as one coherent piece from cover to cover.
We proof it carefully, prep production-ready files, and work the print specs and press check until the finished piece matches what we designed, down to the paper stock and the way the cover feels.
FAQ
We can. Some projects need copywriting and editing from the outset; others arrive with content drafted and need editorial design and a copyediting pass to bring everything into one consistent voice.
We prepare production-ready files and coordinate specifications with your printer, from paper stock to bindery. Printing itself is planned separately, and we stay involved through the press check to protect the final result.
Yes. Each publication is planned for print, a digital edition, or both, with every layout designed for its own reading environment, on paper or on a screen.
